J. CHRISTOPHER'S OPENS FIRST RESTAURANT IN BOOMING JOHNS CREEK
Atlanta, April 27, 2009 – J. Christopher’s today announces the second of eight planned restaurant openings for 2009. The newest location is in Johns Creek, Ga. and will be open for business on Wednesday April 29. The Johns Creek location will be the 22nd location for the thriving restaurant company that serves breakfast and lunch offering unique menus, warm hospitality and localized charm. The restaurant will seat 100 guests on the inside and thirty-six in its patio area. It is located at 11720 Medlock Bridge, Suite 100, Johns Creek, Ga 30097 and will be open from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m.

"We believe that we are growing in this economy because consumers are craving great meals that won’t break the bank. Just as the city of Johns Creek is new and growing, we are too. We are delighted to offer this new community a great new place to go for breakfast and lunch."
The Johns Creek location will be the new prototype for all J. Christopher’s restaurants and will feature new interior design, new signage and newer, more energy-efficient kitchen equipment all designed to give J. Christopher’s guests a unique and enjoyable experience.
The new equipment will be more efficient featuring an induction heat cook top that allows for 25-30 percent less electrical consumption than traditional electric cook tops. This new cook top will also produce a 30 percent quicker cook time. Additionally, the interior at the Johns Creek location will help to create a more colorful and comfortable environment. A few standouts in the area of décor will be new seating and upholstery, decorative lighting and vibrant new paint colors.
J. Christopher’s restaurants continue to be natural gathering places for communities. Though this new Johns Creek location is company owned, J. Christopher’s is an ideal restaurant for franchising because of its steady growth and dedicated fan base.
"Last fall, we announced our franchising program and have targeted several suburbs of Atlanta and markets throughout the Southeast for expansion, including Nashville, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Birmingham and Charleston," said Holbrook.
